DESIGN INSPIRATION
Mumal and Rano's story is filled with love, longing, envy, and spite, but ultimately meets a tragic end with the death of the lovers
This is perhaps one the most heart-rending folktales thought to have transpired in the region of present-day Sindh, Pakistan and Rajasthan, India.
Mumal, a princess of Jaisalmer’s magical Kak Mahal, and Rano, a minister of Umerkot, fell deeply in love after Rano overcame great challenges to reach her.
Their bond was strong, but fate tested them through a misunderstanding that separated them and united at death.
Despite the odds, their love endured as a symbol of devotion and sacrifice, remembered to this day as a testament to the power of love and its eternal nature.
