INTRODUCTION
MORNI
The watch is inspired by peahen, the beauty of peahens is often undermined due to their drabber colours as compared to their male counterparts. But their austere beauty is what makes them exceptional.
The design and colours of the watch are inspired by these remarkable creatures conveying the idea that there lies beauty in the simplest of things.
The Meenakari enamelling technique, popularized by Raja Man Singh in Rajasthan, has been utilised in crafting the dial.
The detailed Gada crown is a fine example of Indian artisanship.

DESIGN INSPIRATION
The peahen, though often overshadowed by the peacock’s dazzling plumage, possesses a subtle and graceful beauty of her own. Her earthy-toned feathers blend seamlessly with nature, exuding an understated elegance that enhances her charm. With her keen, watchful eyes and poised demeanor, she symbolizes quiet strength and resilience. Unlike the ostentatious peacock, the peahen’s beauty lies in her simplicity, making her a true embodiment of grace and natural allure. Her role in nurturing the next generation adds to her significance, making her an essential figure in the cycle of life and beauty in nature.

Meenakari is a well known process of coloring and painting the top surfaces or bases of ceramics, metals and other such materials, through enameling.
The word can be broken down into two halves and seen as “meena” and “kari”. Mina is a variation of the word “meenu” which is known to mean heaven, or paradise, while “kari” means to do, or to place something on another surface, or something else. Together, the word means to place paradise, or something resembling it, onto an object.
