DESIGN INSPIRATION
The watch is inspired by the distinctive style of painting to achieve highly stylized backgrounds comprising rolling clouds in the Jodhpur school of miniature paintings. Jodhpur emerged as a prominent centre of the Rajasthani school of miniature paintings during the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries. Traditionally, the paintings utilised natural colours procured from mineral and vegetable sources. Bright colours have been used to capture the vibrancy of Jodhpur miniatures.

The term cloisonne comes from the French word 'cloison' which translates to partition. It involves the use of different enamels separated by partitions made of thin metal ribbons. These ribbons are usually gold or silver and no thicker than a strand of hair.
