DESIGN INSPIRATION
Inside the stunning City Palace Jaipur lies an inner courtyard called Pritam Niwas Chowk, which translates to “courtyard of the beloved”. Here there are four unique and beautifully decorated doorways known as Ridhi Sidhi Pol, which represent the four seasons and different Hindu gods.
The Green gate, representing Spring, is dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
Featuring the ‘Lehariya’ or ‘waves’ pattern in a spectrum of green, the Lehariya Gate of City Palace, Jaipur, is a vibrant tribute to spring season. Vivid shades signal the arrival of spring, with intricate patterns beautifully mirroring the season’s renewal and vitality. This artistic marvel reflects the exceptional skills of craftsmen of a bygone era.

Meenakari is a well known process of coloring and painting the top surfaces or bases of ceramics, metals and other such materials, through enameling.
The word can be broken down into two and seen as “meena” and “kari”. Mina is a variation of the word “meenu” which is known to mean heaven, or paradise, while “kari” means to do, or to place something on another surface, or something else. Together, the word means to place paradise, or something resembling it, onto an object.
