The dial has been painted on metal to imitate the elaborate designs of Blue Pottery art. The crown is kept rather simple, focusing attention onto the intricate artwork.

The minidial functions as a 24 hour time window and the regular dial incorporates the Blue pottery pattern. The crowns have been embedded with jewels matching the color of the Blue Pottery art.
